The Mexican producer of Ugly Betty, Salma Hayek stopped at 6th place, while the most famous legs of Hollywood Industry and the rest of the body of Sharone Stone gained the 5th place.

The Italian Monica Bellucci and Demi Moore are almost equal getting, in order, to the 4th and 3rd place.

So it was up to two incredible women, both > 50 years old:

Madonna and Michelle Pfeiffer, but the unstoppable Queen of Pop reached the 1st place with a 63% of preference above all!!

It’s very subjective; many find women like Michelle and Demy way more beautiful, natural and charming than Madonna, who is a rock-star type with a perfect muscled-tonic body.

The song that brought her popularity was her slow-guitar cover of Rihanna’s UMBRELLA, but soon all of her songs were pretty famous too.

She released her first album named UNFOLD some months ago and is now preparing her 2nd album that is going to be called BREATHING UNDERWATER.

LOST & PRISON BREAK = BEST+Action SHOWs Ever!

U voted this time too, and we have two winners with an equal 71% of preference!!

The already ended ALIAS remained at 5th place, while HEROES and TERMINATOR The Sarah Connor Chronicles gained together the 4th and 3rd place.
The podium belongs to the best two: PRISON BREAK and LOST.

The first one is going to end this year after 4 incredible seasons: they moved from the little prison when they didn’t know anything, to be on “top” catching themselves the Company. They passed through another prison in Panamá (SONA), fakes deaths (Dr Sarah Tancredi) and arrived to L.A. looking for Scylla, the black box of the Company that may represent more than they could imagine…while someone closer who they thought died more years ago is still alive…

The second (only casually) is the masterpiece created by JJ Abrams. An unknown island, many people, time traveling, loves, hates, revenges, mysteries and unsolved puzzles…The show is actually on air with its 5th season and it’s confirmed for a next season 2009-2010. We always get closer to the answers, but we keep collecting questions over the walk.
I guess we’ll wait till spring/summer 2010 to finally know the whole truth! Oops or they’re gonna make a movie? We don’t know yet...

SERIES OfThe WEEK: Desperate Housewives

These girls rock and are hot as fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over 5 years they’re still on top… 5 beautiful women, housewives exactly:
Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo), Marcia Cross (Bree Van de Kamp), Eva Longoria Parker (Gabrielle Solís) and Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt).

Trough their dead friend’s voice, Mary Alice Young, the series tells us the stories, pasts, loves, friendships of these 5 ladies living in the exclusive street of Wisteria Lane in the fictional American town of Fairview, Eagle State.

In the last 5th season, aired from September 2008, the series jumped 5 years in the future showing us lots of surprises but keeping the usual charming style.
The show seems to be confirmed until May 2011, with the end of the 7th and final season.

The show showed many changes in the characters’ live and personalities, teaching some lessons.
The audience results demonstrate it’s still on top, as a premium series.
Let’s see what these last episode of the current 5th season bring us…

WILL & GRACE = BEST+Hilarious SHOW Ever!!

U voted! ..and this time the blog received more votes than the usual!

At 5th place we find the most recent 30 Rock.
At 4th place the funny How I Met Your Mother.
Friends gets to the 3rd place (I thought it could really win..).

And while the brilliant Two And A Half Men reaches the 2nd place, as we all could imagine Will & Grace gets to the TOP with a 72%!!

I know, it’s the most awarded show of all times, it’s unique, hilarious, sarcastic, contagious… but it faced other shows with similar qualities such as Friends and Two And A Half Men.

Debra Messing (Grace Adler), Eric McCormack (Will Truman), Sean Hayes (Jack McFarland) and the legendary Megan Mullally (Karen Walker) are the “fantastic 4” that made this show so famous over 8 years.

A smart, handsome rich gay lawyer, Will, living with his best friend ever, a beautiful Interior Designer, Grace. Will’s best friend Jack, an egocentric hilarious gay guy trying to be famous and rich without working, and Grace’s assistant: a Park Avenue lady married to a fat billionaire, Karen, who likes to spent time chatting, drinking and swallowing unknown pills.

The all 4 are the best of friends but in the end while Will & Grace try to grow, finding love and creating more personal spaces, there’s the spontaneous and perfect combination between Jack and Karen: superficial, unrealistic and super funny!

The show involved many celebrities as never before...we coul mentionate:

Michael Douglas, Matt Demon, Britney Spears, Elton John, Madonna, Demi Moore, Cher, Kevin Bacon, Alec Baldwin, Glenn Close, Geena Davis, Minnie Driver, Andy García, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Rosie O’Donnell and Sharone Stone.

They stopped the show “before it was too late” as the starring actors said many times. They didn’t want people to feel like it was the end, they preferred to leave a “wanting more” sensations in all of us, and I’m pretty sure they did perfectly!

For those (living on Mars I guess…) who don’t know the show I’d like to recommend this Intelligent Comedy Series!!

One of them already ended (ALIAS), some of them are going to end this year (PRISON BREAK; probably TERMINATOR), and some of them just seems to be unstoppable (LOST; HEROES).

SERIES OfThe WEEK: TERMINATOR The Sarah Connor Chronicles

This week is dedicated to one of the most recent attractive series, the Chronicles of Sarah Connor (Lena Headey): a soldier-woman and mother trying to stop the creation of SKYNET, a computer programmed to destroy the human race.

She travelled through time and is aware that her only son John Connor (Thomas Dekker)is going to be the “head” of the future human resistance against machines.

They fight today to save our tomorrow!

With them there are also Cameron (Summer Glau) a re-programmed machine to protect John at all costs, and Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green) John’s uncle (brother of his dead dad).

Other two important characters are the FBI agent James Ellison (Richard Timothy Jones) trying to understand what is going to happen, and the evil Catherine Weaver (Garbage’s front-woman Shirley Manson) a machine came from the future pretending to be a normal business woman.

The first season really rocked, while the second one turned out to be pretty disappointing to many.

I still believe this series can really be great…we can only wait and check!

BEST OSCAR 2009: Penélope Cruz (Vicky Cristina Barcelona)

The beautiful Spanish lady won the “blog award” over Kate Winslet (THE READER), Sean Penn (MILK) and Heath Ledger’s (THE DARK KNIGHT) interpretations.

Her role of Maria Elena, Juan Antonio’s ex-wife made her win the Oscar this year as Best Female in a supporting role.

The movie, in my opinion, is brilliant: extremely realistic and absurd at the same time. U can “enter” in it as if it were a room with an open door; u can find yourself lost between the thoughts and feelings of the characters.

The all cast, wonderfully directed by Mr. Woody Allen (Scarlett Johansson; Javier Bardem and Rebecca Hall) did a great job, making the movie a really masterpiece.

But of course the most particular, unique and important thing is Penélope’s performance: her moves between Spanish and English, the strength of her eyes, the sweet fragile weakness of her voice…

My congratulations to Woody Allen for creating such an amazing female character, and to Penélope Cruz: the first Spanish woman winning an OSCAR.

…Who knows what Matthew McConaughey and Tom Cruise thought seeing her ex fiancé winning the award…
